We held our workshop titled “The Issues of Participation Finance in Türkiye from an Economic Perspective” on April 17 at Marmara University Faculty of Theology, Prof. Dr. Ali Özek Hall.
We continue to address, at an academic level, the structural issues hindering the development of participation finance in Türkiye in line with its principles. In the workshop, attended by approximately 35 academics consisting of economists with original approaches in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance and faculty members of our institute, the issues of the distinctiveness of participation finance and its contribution to the real economy were discussed in a lively deliberative environment over four sessions.
