The "Academic Consultation Meeting on Islamic Economics and Finance" was held under the auspices of our institute (MÜİSEF) and with the support of the Participation Banks Association of Turkey (TKBB).
As part of the program, Dr. Ozan Maraşlı, a faculty member of MÜİSEF, delivered a presentation titled "The Current State of the Discipline of Islamic Economics and Finance in Turkey in the Academic Field."
Academics from various universities in Turkey who attended the workshop delivered presentations introducing the Department and the Discipline of Islamic Economics and Finance.
In the afternoon session, we listened to our esteemed professors, Prof. Dr. Hayrettin Karaman, Prof. Dr. Hamdi Döndüren, Prof. Dr. Murat Çizakça, and Prof. Dr. Necdet Şensoy, in a panel titled "The Past, Present, and Future of Islamic Economics and Finance from the Perspective of Pioneers in the Academic Field."
At the end of the program, a session moderated by Prof. Dr. Şakir Görmüş, a faculty member of MÜİSEF, was held, during which "Evaluations, Issues, and Suggestions Regarding Islamic Economics and Finance in the Academic Field" were discussed with the active participation of the academics in attendance.
