Graduate students from the Arabic Department of Marmara University’s Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance met with Assistant Professor İpek Madi Erkekoğlu, a faculty member at the Institute, on 22 October 2026 as part of the “One Professor, One Story” talk series, which aims to strengthen academic and scholarly interaction between the Institute’s faculty members and students.
During the session, Assistant Professor İpek Madi Erkekoğlu shared insights into her field of expertise, highlighted key milestones in her academic and scientific career, and discussed major research topics in Islamic economics and finance. The session also provided an opportunity for students to ask questions about their theses, research projects, and academic development, which were addressed by the speaker.
