Prof. Dr. Şakir Görmüş and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eyüp Sabri Kala, academic members from our institute, participated in various congresses, workshops, and panels in Iran upon the invitation of the Iran Insurance Research Center.

On December 3, at the 11th International Conference on Insurance and Development in Tehran, Prof. Dr. Şakir Görmüş participated as a keynote speaker and delivered a presentation titled "Development of Islamic Insurance in Turkey: Pros, Cons, and Recommendations."

At the ICID 2023 congress, where Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eyüp Sabri Kala presented on "Legal Aspects of Islamic Insurance in Turkey," Prof. Dr. Şakir Görmüş also delivered a presentation titled "A Comparative Study of Islamic and Conventional Insurance Literacy."

On December 7, Prof. Dr. Şakir Görmüş and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eyüp Sabri Kala participated as keynote speakers at the International Workshop on the “Operational Dimension of Islamic Economics” held at Imam Sadiq University in Tehran.

During the workshop, Prof. Dr. Şakir Görmüş presented "Does Mankind Need Islamic Economics," and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eyüp Sabri Kala presented "Legal Similarities and Differences between Islamic and Conventional Insurance in Turkey."
