Death Announcement

Our esteemed professor, retired lecturer of Marmara University Faculty of Theology, Department of Islamic Law, who has pioneering studies in the field of Islamic economy and finance Prof. Celal YENİÇERİ has passed away. We wish God's mercy on our professor and patience for his relatives.

Prof. Celal YENİÇERİ, besides his valuable works in the field of Islamic economics such as "Principles of Islamic Economics", "State Budget in Islam", "Consumption in terms of Islam-Consumer Protection and Home Management", he has many valuable works on Islamic civilization, Islamic morality and spirituality and Islamic law. The main ones of these works are; "The Prophet and Afterwards, Islam's View of Labor and its Regulation of Labor Life" can be counted as "Islam's Solidarity-Sharing Civilization: All Related Institutions and Its Moving to Today".

We are grateful to our esteemed professor for his contributions to Islamic studies and Islamic economics and finance throughout his life.
