Final Registration Procedures

GRADUATE EXAM RESULTS AND FINAL REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

 

Final registrations will be made between 01 - 12 September 2023 at Göztepe Campus Institutes Building First Floor - Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance between 08.45 - 16.45.

IMPORTANT: Foreign candidates and those who will register for Non-Thesis Master's programs; FIRST, are required to deposit their tuition fees with the STUDENT NUMBER on the Placement Result Document, via Halk Bank branches or online.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FINAL REGISTRATION

IMPORTANT ISSUES

  • In the final registration, it must be submitted all the ORIGINAL documents required.
  • If the original of the relevant document is submitted, its photocopy will be accepted, and the photocopy brought by the candidate will be made "like the original" by our Institute.
  • Candidates who cannot bring the original graduation certificate/diploma can register with a copy of the "as original" approved by the University they graduated from.
  • o Candidates are required to submit their graduation, transcript, passport and other documents in the language of the program they are applying for or certified Turkish translations to our institute at the time of final registration.
    o E-signed documents are valid.
  • It can be registered with the deputation of a notary.
  • Registration via mail is not possible.
  • Candidates are only responsible for the conflict in pre-registration statements and final registration documents.
  • A candidate who does not register on the specified date cannot claim any rights.

 

TURKISH CITIZENS

A) Doctorate Program

1. Final Registration Form: It will be given by the Institute during the final registration process and the candidate will be asked to fill in the information.

2. Diploma - Provisional Certificate of Graduation: Candidates who cannot graduate before the final registration date will not be registered, even if they are permanent applicant.

If the diploma is not in Turkish, a copy of the NOTER approved Turkish translation will be shown and a photocopy will be approved by the Institute.

3. Equivalency or School Recognition Certificate: Candidates who completed their undergraduate or graduate education abroad are required to bring the diploma equivalency or school recognition certificate obtained from the Council of Higher Education.

4. Transcript Document: It is mandatory to submit an approved master's degree transcript. (The average of 4 or 100 must be calculated.)

If the transcript is not in Turkish, a copy of the NOTER approved Turkish translation will be shown and a photocopy will be approved by the Institute.

5. ALES Result Document: The ALES document must be valid and the printout of the result document with the control code must be brought. (ALES results are valid for 5 years from the date of their announcement.)

6. Foreign Language Certificate or its Equivalent: 

For YDS, E-YDS, ÜDS, KPDS, YÖKDİL or equivalent foreign language documents, it is valid for 5 years unless a validity date is specified on it. Click for ÖSYM Foreign Language Equivalence Table.

7. 2 Passport Photography

8. TR Identity Card Copy

9. Placement Result Document: It will be obtained from the Application System

10. Military Status Certificate: For male students.

 

B) Masters Program (Turkish)

1. Final Registration Form: It will be given by the Institute during the final registration process and the candidate will be asked to fill in the information.

2. Diploma - Provisional Certificate of Graduation: Candidates who cannot graduate before the final registration date will not be registered, even if they are permanent applicant.

C) Masters Program (English)

1. Final Registration Form: It will be given by the Institute during the final registration process and the candidate will be asked to fill in the information.

(It is not required from those who have graduated from secondary education institutions attended by the citizens of a country where English is spoken as a mother tongue for at least three years and who have officially documented this situation).

D) Masters Program Non-Thesis (Turkish)

1. Final Registration Form: It will be given by the Institute during the final registration process and the candidate will be asked to fill in the information.

FOREIGN CANDIDATES

A) Doctorate Program

6. Foreign Language Certificate or its Equivalent: Candidates are required to submit a Language Certificate other than their mother tongue. In order to fulfill the second language requirement, Turkish proficiency certificates of Marmara-TÖMER, Yunus Emre Institute and other universities in Turkey (with a score of B2 or equivalent) will also be accepted as foreign language certificates.

For YDS, E-YDS, ÜDS, KPDS, YÖKDİL or equivalent foreign language documents, it is valid for 5 years unless a validity date is specified on it. Click for ÖSYM Foreign Language Equivalence Table.

7. TÖMER Certificate: At least B2 level TÖMER certificate is required. (It is not required from those who graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in any higher education institution in Turkey or abroad whose language of instruction is Turkish.)

9. Passport: A photocopy of the original passport will be approved by the Institute.

10. Placement Result Document: It will be obtained from the Application System

 

B) Masters Programs (Thesis & Non-Thesis) (Turkish)

1. Final Registration Form: It will be given by the Institute during the final registration process and the candidate will be asked to fill in the information.

2. Tuition Fee Receipt: They are required to deposit their tuition fees with the Student Number on the Placement Result Document, from Halk Bank branches or online. Registration procedures will not be made for candidates who do not bring a receipt of tuition fees during final registration.
